STRENGTH for TRUMP
JESUS declared:
John 15:18-19
King James Version
18 If the world hate you,
ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world,
the world would love his own:
but because ye are not of the world,
but I have chosen you out of the world,
therefore the world hateth you.
President-elect Trump must find comfort in the verses above.
Only JESUS can give him the strength he needs for his new journey in leading America.
Despite the slings, sucker punches, and Satanic attacks.
Trump has just been given a criminal sentence of "unconditional discharge" at the New York courts yesterday.
Of course, Trump is offended.
He has called the attacks on him a "disgrace", and a ""witch hunt".
What is an "unconditional discharge"?
That means the charges against him are upheld.
These charges are 34 felony counts on falsifying business records.
But he faces no fine, probation, or jail time.
The courts consider him a "convicted felon".
That has a painful ring to it.
The Biden administration wants him "marked" as such.
This 78-year-old re-elected president is the first American president to be treated this way.
Of course, Trump minds that very much.
But he must trust GOD's hand is in everything.
GOD "allows", for a reason, and a season.
The end results are always his.
Everyone in this world probably faces challenges.
This is a cross Trump must carry.
JESUS commanded:
Luke 9:23
King James Version
23 And he said to them all,
If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily,
and follow me.
His international travel will also be restricted.
Depending upon which country does, or doesn't accept, "convicted felons".
It is possible some heads of friendly nations may lift the restriction, considering he's the American president.
And then again, they may not.
His ties with Canada are a bit strained.
And that's where the June 2025 51st G7 summit will be.
This unconditional discharge will really be a pain for him.
As the vengeful Obama, Biden, and Kamala group have purposely designed.
With Trump's second round at presidency, the challenges mount.
Trump, and his legal team, will appeal.
GOD-willing, it will be overturned.
It has been a rocky road for Trump, even when he first became president in 2017.
He lost to Biden in 2020, but has regained his footing in 2024, where the American people happily voted for him.
He was like a breath of fresh air from all the weird woke, and left, ideology.
Now, he's dismantling all that nonsense.
That's why everyone worldwide are in an uproar.
California governor Newsom has something up his sleeve, despite the fires raging.
But that's for another post.
The Biden administration is not about to give him a "smooth" transition either.
No wonder Biden's gleeful smile, as Trump seriously looked on, not trusting the dude an inch.
This, as Trump visited Biden at the White House after winning the election.
CHRIST's enemy will always look for chinks in Trump's "armor".
That's why he needs to wear the FULL ARMOR of GOD.
It is the only real protection he will have.
Apart from the strength and capability the LORD will give him.
GOD chose him, didn't He?
GOD gave Trump another chance at being president.
Now is the time to do better, redeem himself, stay away from sin, drop all old ways, dubious affiliations, and stick closest to JESUS.
Ideally, Trump would choose to be born again.
Only then can he really understand, and embrace, GOD's laws.
There is nothing like being born again, and being guided by the HOLY SPIRIT each day.
Your thinking becomes clear, CHRIST-like, and compassionate.
The best comfort we can give the president-elect, as he goes through these rough spots -- for there will be many -- is to pray for him, his team, and America.
Apart from sharing this essential chapter from the Bible.
It was written by King David, seeking GOD's help, that he may conquer his numerous enemies.
Like king David -- a man of war -- Trump's path will be rocky.
But he has the ROCK that is CHRIST to lead him.
He will surely find strength, and comfort, from these powerful Davidic verses:
Psalm 59
King James Version
59 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God:
defend me from them that rise up against me.
2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity,
and save me from bloody men.
3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul:
the mighty are gathered against me;
not for my transgression,
nor for my sin, O Lord.
4 They run and prepare themselves
without my fault:
awake to help me, and behold.
5 Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts,
the God of Israel,
awake to visit all the heathen:
be not merciful to any wicked transgressors.
Selah.
6 They return at evening:
they make a noise like a dog,
and go round about the city.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth:
swords are in their lips:
for who, say they, doth hear?
8 But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them;
thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee:
for God is my defence.
10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me:
God shall let me see my desire
upon mine enemies.
11 Slay them not, lest my people forget:
scatter them by thy power;
and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12 For the sin of their mouth
and the words of their lips
let them even be taken in their pride:
and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13 Consume them in wrath,
consume them, that they may not be:
and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob
unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
14 And at evening let them return;
and let them make a noise like a dog,
and go round about the city.
15 Let them wander up and down for meat,
and grudge if they be not satisfied.
16 But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence and refuge
in the day of my trouble.
17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing:
for God is my defence,
and the God of my mercy.
